Travelers flock to Mt. Everest and use Kathmandu as just an entry and exit point. This is a mistake. With its UNESCO sites and vibrant people, cuisine, and energy, Kathmandu deserves to be savored. When travelers say “epic,” nothing matches the Himalayas. At least five days are needed to fully experience the wonders of Nepal.
